Applications for TOLT packages include power tools, light electric vehicles and battery management systems. ‌

The TOLT package (Top-Leaded) is a form of package with excellent thermal performance, which uses a Top heat dissipation design so that the drain is exposed to the surface of the package, which is able to conduct 95% of the heat to the heat sink. This design significantly reduces thermal resistance (approximately 20% lower for RthJA and nearly 50% better for RthJC), resulting in higher power losses compared to traditional bottom-cooled packages such as TOLL or D²PAK, where heat needs to be conducted through the PCB to the heat sink. These features of the TOLT package make it ideal for applications requiring better thermal performance.

Specific to the application field, TOLT packaging is mainly used in the following aspects:
